Welcome to the Hero’s Journey: a therapeutic tabletop adventure designed to help young heroes level up their real-world skills.
Quest Overview:
WHO: The Hero’s Journey is for preteens and teens looking to build social skills, confidence, and communication skills. No prior D&D or gaming experience necessary! Led by Licensed Mental Health Counselors certified in Therapeutic Game Mastering.
WHAT: 10-week therapeutic tabletop RPG campaign. We use a game system similar to D&D, but specifically tailored for social-emotional learning and therapeutic engagement.
WHERE: All session take place in-person, at our Brighton, NY office.
WHEN: Fall registration is now open and closes September 4th. Campaigns start the week of September 15th (evening and weekend slots available).
HOW: Cost is $500 total ($50 per session). Insurance coverage and financing options are available. All interested participants must fill out the registration form to be placed in a group.
